brea has been with lucent the longest, after her family relocated to downtown mesa. she’s only ever had two jobs. can you guess which one is her favorite? she’s been behind the chair for 22 years. outside of the salon you can find brea with her family at any of the local watering holes, or at one of downtown’s many events. she always knows what new businesses are opening, or any of the downtown happenings. she is a minnesota vikings girl and ‘love’ just isn’t a strong enough word for what she feels for the dave mathew’s band.

heidi is our music lover. whether it be your annual spotify wrapped, vinyl, live shows, making playlists or good old fashioned car-aoke-heidi wants to talk about it. she is also an avid reader and has made a community library at her work station. after 16 years behind the chair, heidi loves women’s hair cuts, coppers and lived in colors. come see heidi for your next transformation!

shalai is our personal safe space. she will wrap you up in her warm personality whether you want her to or not. from training service animals, to taking care of her own special needs pup-shalai is one of a kind. she has been slaying creative color and all things blonding for the last 8 years. she also gives a killer brazilian blowout.

ashlie has been in the industry for 8 years. she thrives with razor cuts, and loves blondes and vivid hair colors. ash has a deep rooted passion for the salt river. she worked there when she was younger helping with petitions to save the wild horses. today she enjoys hoola hoop dancing, and being outdoors with her family.

sol is our jet setter. she always has a fun trip planned just around the corner. she also loves live music. catch her at the next bad bunny show. sol has been behind the chair for almost 3 years and loves color corrections and dimensional brunettes.

carly has been doing hair for about 6 years. she loves pixies and curly haircuts! she is neat, organized and extremely professional. we are so lucky to have her! outside of the salon carly loves taking care of her reptile terrariums, and is very passionate about sustainability.

brittany is a lover of all textured haircuts and vivid hair colors. after 12 years behind the chair she is serious about making sure her guests maintain the healthiest of hair. outside the salon brittany is a big fan of music. she’s performed all over the country in jazz groups, marching bands, and orchestras. today you can find brit around downtown supporting all of the local breweries, and other businesses with her family.

shelby has been behind the chair for 15 years. she loves a good shag, or short haircut. you may not know that shelby has recently started to preserve and pin insects in her spare time. she loves a good brewery, and spending time with good friends. you can often find her doing just that, at our very own local chupacabra taproom.
